Board and Care Residence to Become Home–Plus

Home Again Senior Living Board and Care will become Home Again Senior Living Home- Plus approximately August 15, 2008.  Home–Plus facilities are private residences offering 24–hour supervision and care for up to eight people. Home Again Senior Living will provide a room, meals, 24–hour supervision, personal care, and may include supervised nursing care, if needed.

An increased level of care will be provided under the Home-Plus license.  Home–Plus is a Kansas Department on Aging designation which qualifies a private residence to provide ‘hands on’ care for up to eight residents in a home-like setting. Home Again Senior Living targets the physical and emotional well-being of the senior citizen and Home Again Senior Living as a Home-Plus will strive to fulfill reliable, trustworthy and compassionate care for the elderly.

Home Again Senior Living’s focus is on the client's physiological well-being and self-image in an environment that enables clients to retain community relationships. They provide elder services in a dignified setting that strives for personal health and emotional well being in a manner that honors each of our client's heritages.

Home Again Senior Living as a Home-Plus will be providing care for persons requiring assistance with the Activities of Daily Living such bathing, transferring, medications, and supervision, if needed. Meals, housekeeping, and laundry services are enjoyed in Home Again's intimate and nurturing setting. Respite and day care is also available to give family members who are caring for an elder family member a break or time to be away. Respite care includes recuperative stays after a surgery or illness.

Home Again Senior Living as Home–Plus will provide services for Medi-Caid and will be certified to provide services for folks with long term care insurance.
